Where FORTIFY™ C5075DP fits

FORTIFY™ C5075DP has a typical density of 0.873 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate of 5 g/10 min (190 °C/2.16 kg), which makes it a semi-rigid, medium-flow grade in the SABIC FORTIFY range. SABIC lists it for photovoltaic encapsulation, and its volume resistivity above 1016 Ω·cm suits solar encapsulant films. Typical uses:

  • POE and co-extruded EPE encapsulant films for solar modules
  • Impact modification of PP where more stiffness has to be kept
  • Film modification and sealing layers
