Your POE Elastomer Supplier in China

SYCHEM TECH is a POE elastomer supplier based in Shenyang, China, offering polyolefin elastomer (POE) grades from leading global and regional series for impact modification of PP and engineering plastics, photovoltaic film, automotive TPO, wire and cable, foam, and soft-touch compounding. As your formulation development partner, we match the right melt index, density, and comonomer content to your process — and recommend cost-effective alternatives when needed. For background, see the overview of polyolefin elastomers.

Tell us your target hardness, application, and processing method, and our team will recommend the most suitable POE grade — backed by stable sourcing and reliable supply. Explore the full specialty elastomers range for SEBS, SBS, TPV, and TPE solutions.

POE Grade Selection — FAQ

What is POE used for?
Polyolefin elastomer (POE) is mainly used to toughen and impact-modify polypropylene and engineering plastics, as an encapsulant film resin in photovoltaic modules, and in automotive TPO compounds, foam, wire and cable, and soft-touch consumer parts. Grade choice depends on melt index, density, and comonomer content.

How do I choose between high-MI and low-MI POE?
Higher melt index improves flow and dispersion for injection molding and masterbatch let-down, while lower melt index gives better mechanical strength and is preferred for extrusion, foam, and film. Lower density generally means softer material and better low-temperature impact performance.

Can you recommend an equivalent to a specific imported grade?
Yes. Share the brand, grade, or a target data sheet, and we will cross-reference a comparable POE grade from our portfolio and provide a sample for evaluation, helping you balance performance and cost.

What documents and support do you provide?
We supply technical data sheets, processing guidance, and samples, and offer ongoing formulation support from first trial through production scale-up, backed by stable sourcing and dependable lead times.

Is POE suitable for photovoltaic (PV) encapsulation film?
Yes. POE encapsulant film provides an excellent water-vapor barrier, strong PID (potential-induced degradation) resistance, and long-term weatherability, which is why POE — often as a POE/EVA co-extruded structure — is widely specified for double-glass, bifacial, and high-efficiency PV modules. For other uses, the same POE grades deliver toughness and flexibility in films, automotive parts, foam, and cable. Share your lamination process or module design and we will recommend a suitable PV-grade POE and provide samples for qualification.
