Borealis Queo POE grades at a glance
Borealis Queo™ grades are ethylene-octene elastomers made with Borealis’ proprietary Compact technology and metallocene catalysts. The three grades we list sit at 0.868–0.870 g/cm³, the density range used most often for impact modification of polypropylene, and differ mainly in melt flow.

How to choose a Queo grade
- Queo 6800LA (0.868 g/cm³, 0.5 g/10 min) and Queo 7001LA (0.870 g/cm³, 0.5 g/10 min): low flow and high melt strength for extrusion, cable compounds and the toughest TPO.
- Queo 7007LA (0.870 g/cm³, 6.5 g/10 min): higher flow for injection-moulded compounds and faster cycles.
- Match the elastomer’s MFR to your PP grade: a large viscosity gap makes the rubber phase harder to disperse.

Dow ENGAGE 7387 and ExxonMobil Exact 9071 share its nominal 0.870 g/cm³ and 0.5 g/10 min. ENGAGE 7387 is an ethylene-butene grade while Queo is ethylene-octene, so compare impact results in a trial.
