Contact Us for Technical SupportYour Grafted Polymers Supplier in China

SYCHEM TECH is a grafted polymers supplier based in Shenyang, China, producing the SY series of reactive, functionalized polyolefins for compatibilization and impact modification. More than a distributor, we act as your formulation development partner — helping compounders and OEMs bond immiscible polymers, raise impact and low-temperature toughness, improve filler and glass-fiber adhesion, and stabilize processing. Our grades cover PP and PE compatibilizer series as well as nylon, ABS, and polyester toughening series, with low-odor options for sensitive applications. For background, see the overview of graft polymers.
How MAH and GMA grafting works
A grafted polymer attaches reactive groups onto a polyolefin backbone. Maleic anhydride (MAH) grafting introduces anhydride groups that react with amine and hydroxyl end-groups in nylon, EVOH, and natural fibers, creating strong interfacial bonds in blends, wood-plastic composites, and glass-fiber systems. Glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) grafting adds epoxy functionality that is especially effective for polyester (PBT/PET) and recycled-resin chain extension. Choosing the right backbone, graft level, and melt index is what determines real-world performance.
Compatibilizer or toughening agent?
Use a compatibilizer when you need to bond immiscible polymers or improve filler/fiber adhesion in alloys and reinforced compounds — our compatibilizer series (SY-HA, SY-LV, SY-PW, SY-PX, SY-PZ) covers PP, low-odor PP, and PE systems. Use a toughening agent when the goal is impact strength and low-temperature performance in PA, ABS, PBT, or PC — our toughening agent series (SY-AR, SY-NE/NF/NK/NP/NT, SY-ER/ES/EV) targets nylon, ABS, and polyester. Not sure which fits? As your grafted polymers supplier, our team will recommend a grade and send samples.
Tell us your base resin, the blend or filler you are compatibilizing, and your impact and processing targets, and we will match an SY series grade and arrange evaluation samples. Explore the full functional additives range for flame retardants, processing aids, nucleating agents, and more.
