ENGAGE™ 8150
ENGAGE™ 8150 is a high-performance ethylene-octene (EO) copolymer polyolefin elastomer (POE), designed to enhance impact resistance, increase flexibility, and improve filler loading capacity in various polymer compounds, especially TPO formulations.
| Property | Typical Value | Test Method |

| Melt Flow Index (190°C / 2.16 kg) | 0.5 g/10 min | ASTM D1238 |
Where ENGAGE™ 8150 fits
ENGAGE™ 8150 has a typical density of 0.868 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate of 0.5 g/10 min (190 °C/2.16 kg), which makes it a soft, low-flow grade in the Dow ENGAGE range. Grades in this window are typically used for:
- Impact modification of PP and TPO compounds, especially for low-temperature toughness
- Extruded profiles, hoses, and wire and cable compounds
- Foams and soft compounds where melt strength matters
Similar grades from other producers
These grades share the same nominal density (0.868 g/cm³) and melt flow (0.5 g/10 min): Exact™ 5061, Lucene LC161, FORTIFY™ C05075DF, FORTIFY™ C0570D, Solumer 8705L, Queo 6800LA and WANSUPER 5007. Comonomer, molecular-weight distribution and additive package still differ, so confirm with a short trial before you switch.
