NOR-type (aminoether) HALS — unique low-basicity structure prevents interactions with acidic coating components such as catalysts, pigments and biocides

Excellent resistance to acidic environments — can cross-link with other coating ingredients for superior durability in 2K PUR and UV-curable clear coats

Liquid form — easy incorporation into both solvent-based and water-borne coating systems without pre-dissolution

Prevents gloss loss, cracking and chalking — highly effective in minimising paint film defects caused by UV and weathering

Synergistic with UV absorbers — especially UV-1130, UV-928, UV-384 and UV-400 for maximum weathering protection in automotive refinish

Broad substrate compatibility — effective in PU, acrylic, unsaturated polyester, ABS, PS, PP, PE, PVC, elastomers and sealants

Applications

LS-123 is a high-performance liquid NOR-HALS developed specifically for coating systems containing acidic components. Its low basicity makes it the preferred choice for acid-catalysed stoving lacquers, 2K polyurethane coatings, UV-curable systems and water-borne coatings. Widely used in automotive OEM and refinish coatings, industrial coatings, decorative and wood coatings, as well as plastic substrates and adhesives/sealants.
