ENGAGE™ 8440G
ENGAGE™ 8440G is an ethylene-octene copolymer that performs well across a wide range of thermoplastic elastomer applications. It is an excellent thermoplastic elastomer for blending and compounding.

ENGAGE™ 8440G has a typical density of 0.897 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate of 1.6 g/10 min (190 °C/2.16 kg), which makes it a stiff, plastomer-like, medium-flow grade in the Dow ENGAGE range. Grades in this window are typically used for:
- Film and packaging modification, including sealing layers
- Impact modification where stiffness and heat resistance must be kept
- Plastomer-type applications that need more rigidity than a soft POE
