Fatty acid ester HALS — unique C16–C18 stearate/palmitate ester structure gives outstanding compatibility and solubility in polyolefins with no bloom or migration	Excellent colour stability, gloss retention and durability — protects plastic surfaces from UV-induced yellowing, chalking and gloss loss
Synergistic with other HALS and UV absorbers — especially LS-944, LS-119 and UV-328 for maximum anti-aging performance at lower total loading	Available as masterbatch concentrate (3853PP5) — 50% active in PP carrier resin for easy metering in PP film, tape and injection moulding applications
Low volatility and anti-precipitation — waxy form and high MW fatty acid chain greatly reduce volatility loss during high-temperature processing	Broad polymer compatibility — suitable for polyolefins, PU, ABS, SAN, PA, POM, rubber, coatings and adhesives

LS-3853 is particularly effective in polyolefin plastics (PP, PE), especially for PP and TPO automotive exterior/interior parts, PP films and tapes, TPO roofing membranes and PP outdoor furniture. Also used as a light stabilizer in polyacetal, polyamide, styrenic polymers and polyurethane. Can be incorporated as a neat solid or as the 3853PP5 masterbatch concentrate for precision dosing in PP applications.
