Lucene™ LC670 is an outstanding plastic impact modifier that provides unique properties for composite products.
Applications
- General-purpose thermoplastic elastomers for polymer modification.
- Automotive exterior, shoe soles, PVEN.
| Property | Test Method | Unit | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Density | ASTM D1505 | g/cm³ | 0.870 |
| Melt Flow Rate (190°C, 2.16 kg) | ASTM D1238 | g/10 min | 5.0 |
Where Lucene LC670 fits
Lucene LC670 has a typical density of 0.870 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate of 5 g/10 min (190 °C/2.16 kg), which makes it a soft, medium-flow grade in the LG Lucene range. Grades in this window are typically used for:
- General-purpose PP and TPO impact modification
- Injection-moulded soft-touch and flexible parts
- Wire and cable compounds and footwear foams
Similar grades from other producers
These grades share the same nominal density (0.870 g/cm³) and melt flow (5 g/10 min): ENGAGE™ 8200 and ENGAGE™ 8207. Comonomer, molecular-weight distribution and additive package still differ, so confirm with a short trial before you switch.
Documents and samples
Every shipment of Lucene LC670 comes with a TDS and COA; an SDS is available on request, and for applicable grades we can provide the producer’s REACH and RoHS declarations. Samples are available for qualification trials. Compare all LG Lucene POE grades or the full POE range, and send us your application for a quotation.
